Premium is Diorama's subscription layer for paid feature access and entitlement-aware experiences. It includes StoreKit product loading, purchase/restore flow, and premium-specific upsell surfaces.
Jonah wanted the advanced insights but had been burned by slippery subscription flows in other apps, so he hesitated. Seeing the upgrade path and the restore option laid out plainly in Diorama lowered the stakes. He subscribed once both the value and the billing were things he could actually see.
Why it matters
Subscription trust depends on clear value, reliable entitlement state, and predictable purchase behavior. A polished premium system supports both user confidence and sustainable product delivery.
How Diorama uses this
Open the premium upgrade screen from settings and review available plans. Attempt purchase or restore through the built-in subscription flow. See premium upsell messaging in AI contexts when a paid feature is required.
What you can do
Premium gives you a clear entry point to Diorama's paid feature tier. The current flow can load products, perform purchases, listen for transaction updates, and attempt restore behavior.
AI experiences can also surface contextual upsell messaging and deep-link users to premium settings when needed.
Development builds include controlled bypass paths to support local testing of premium-gated logic.
Notes and limitations
While core purchase plumbing is active, final production confidence depends on external billing and verification environments that are outside this codebase.
Messaging consistency and localization remain active polish areas before full-scale rollout.
The science
People buy more readily when the price, what they're getting, and how to undo it are all transparent. A lot of subscription anxiety is about uncertainty rather than cost, so a flow that shows its state clearly converts better and holds trust longer.
Limitations
Paywall copy and legal messaging still need broader localization and final polish. Full production verification for all billing scenarios depends on external App Store and backend environments. Some feature-gating consistency checks are still being expanded across the app.
People pay for tools they expect to stay dependable. A premium experience earns that by being clear, not by applying pressure — and clarity is what relationships with products are built on.
