Holistic Insights

This feature surfaces daily observations from your tracked behavior data. It combines signals from habits, mood, activity, and trend rules to highlight the most relevant insight first.

Celine's motivation felt random from one day to the next until an insight put three things side by side: the low-mood days tended to land after a bad night's sleep and a skipped workout. She had never seen them together. It gave her one thing to change instead of a vague sense of falling short.

Why it matters

Looking at one metric in isolation often misses the real pattern driving change. Cross-signal insights help users see how sleep, effort, mood, and consistency interact over time.

How Diorama uses this

See a prioritized insight in the Daily Card hero and insight sections. Cycle through additional insights when multiple rules match the same day. Review messages that connect multiple signals instead of treating each metric separately.

What you can do

This feature gives you one place to spot meaningful connections across your tracked data. Instead of making you inspect every chart, Diorama can surface the highest-priority observation and offer additional matched insights.

Current insights focus on safe, trend-oriented framing and can include cross-domain combinations such as habits plus mood or movement plus recovery context.

This helps with pattern recognition and reflection without requiring statistical expertise.

Notes and limitations

Insight content is intentionally cautious. It is designed to suggest patterns, not declare causes or medical conclusions.

Insight depth varies with data availability, and some roadmap experiences like dedicated weekly whole-person summaries are still being built.

The science

Patterns hide when you look at one metric at a time. Pulling sleep, effort, mood, and consistency into the same frame cuts down on single-metric tunnel vision and helps you attribute a bad stretch to the right cause — and getting the cause right is what makes the fix work.

Limitations

Insight logic is rule-based and conservative, not diagnostic. On low-data days, Diorama may show fallback content instead of specific behavior insights. Some deeper weekly summary and morning/evening briefing experiences are not yet productized.

Lasting change tends to come from understanding your own system, not chasing a perfect score. Once you can see how the pieces pull on each other, your choices get more deliberate and less reactive.
